dc.description.abstract | <p>Construction of the Dams and power stations Đerdap coused meny hidrological and ecological changes which resultet in apearance and expansion of auatic vegetation in parts of the Danube corridor. Development of aquatic vegetation is in the same time result and consequence of further shelowing the litoral zone, so it is to be expected that their abundance will continue to grow and they will cover larger areas that are now permanently flooded. Accumulation forming process is not over, and the best indicators of changes that it couses are aquatic plants, their qualitative and quantitative compossition. One of the main priorities is to continue monitoring of aquatic vascular plants in Danube, in order of recognition the size of succesion along banks, and the upstram movement of the upstream border of accumulation.</p> | sr |
