The notion of dynamical nondegeneracy is introduced for a class of nonlinear RLC networks without coupling, called M - networks. This class includes the sub-class of complete networks. A topological criterion is given to ascertain whether the formal order of the system of second order differential equations describing an M - network differs or not from the number of degrees of freedom.en
