dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an alternative solution to remote PC access. management and configuration with a clear goal to eliminate ritch desktop GUI in the process of remote comunication. By doing so, the amount of data excanged between the device that can be another computer, PDA, some internet application (Web site) or a mobile phone, which controls the remote computer, is significantly reduced to 150 to 400 bytes per command. This solution is called R.A.T.S. which is an acronym for Remote Access Terminal Service, was created following the object methodology of distributed computing and component development, relying on WCF and Windows services, SOAP architecture, TCP/IP sockets and .NET technology, keeping in mind, and relying to the plug-in methodology.en
