dc.description.abstractThe bipolariton spectrum has been analysed in the region of exciton-photon resonance. For the case of a one-dimensional lattice the law of dispersion for bipolaritons has been obtained numerically. It is shown that, contrary to biexcitons, bipolaritons in a one-dimensional lattice do not exist for all values of the wave vector. The dispersion law for bipolaritons is a double-valued function of the wave vector. It is shown that resonant polariton-bipolariton states do not exist. © 1975 Società Italiana di Fisica.en
