Title: | A multi-agent system for the determination of optimal hybrids in crop production | Authors: | Badjonski M. Ivanović, Mirjana |
Issue Date: | 1-Jan-2000 | Journal: | Computers and Electronics in Agriculture | Abstract: | Empirical experience shows that human experts determine suitable hybrids to grow in four steps. A general expert system prototype is built on the same principle, using an agent-oriented approach. The knowledge base consists of several agents. Agents communicate using their own language and update their internal beliefs until a solution is reached. A general prototype is being used for the creation of an expert system prototype for the determination of optimal maize hybrids to grow.
