dc.description.abstract | The problems appearing in the modelling and analysis of the kinetics of convective drying process are, primarily, based on an outcome of complex composition and structure of most granular materials dried and a complex field of velocity of the process prevent the setting up of an accurate mathematical model. The mathematical model developed to illustrate the complex phenomena of heat and moisture transfer in dense and deep beds of granular material in conditions of convective drying. The deduced mathematical model also describes the phenomena occurring in conditions of low-temperature drying and active ventilation. The analysis of the mathematical model has demonstrated that the developed system of equations was unified so that additional equations or any basic structural changes to the equation system need not be introduced in order to describe other similar transmission problems. | en |
